Saudi Arabia's Defence Ministry announced it had intercepted and destroyed more than 60 Iranian drones in total since midnight targeting the Eastern Province and Riyadh on Day 17, in what officials described as a resumption of Iran's nightly drone campaign. Defence Ministry spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki announced the interceptions in a series of posts beginning at 2:22am local time. No casualties or significant ground damage were reported. The kingdom's Patriot and NASAMS systems continue to provide layered defence against Iranian aerial threats.
