Sirens activated across Bahrain as IRGC drones detected; government urges residents to shelter

Bahrain's Ministry of Interior activated sirens across the country in the early hours of Day 17 after IRGC drones were detected heading toward the island kingdom. The government called on all residents to remain calm and head to the nearest safe location. Air defense systems were activated and initial reports indicated the incoming drones were being intercepted. No casualties or significant damage were reported as of early morning. Bahrain has intercepted hundreds of Iranian missiles and drones since the start of the war on February 28.
