Iran launched two successive barrages of ballistic missiles targeting Jerusalem and several towns across central Israel on the afternoon of March 14 (Day 15). Air raid sirens sounded across central Israel, Jerusalem, and the West Bank. Israel's Arrow-3 and Iron Dome systems intercepted all incoming missiles. No injuries were reported. The barrages came shortly before a separate Iranian attack on Eilat with a suspected cluster-munition warhead that injured two people including a child. The IRGC said the strikes were part of the "sixth operational cycle" of retaliation for the Kharg Island bombing. Residents across Jerusalem and the surrounding area spent approximately 90 minutes in bomb shelters.
