Iranian ballistic missile strike on Eilat injures child and man — cluster submunitions suspected

Iran launched a ballistic missile attack on Eilat in southern Israel on the afternoon of March 14 (Day 15). Magen David Adom paramedics treated a 12-year-old boy in serious condition with shrapnel wounds to his limbs and a 39-year-old man with moderate injuries. At least three impact sites were reported in the city. It was not immediately clear whether the impacts resulted from interceptor debris or sub-munitions from a possible cluster bomb warhead. The IDF Home Front Command issued shelter orders for southern Israel. Jerusalem was also targeted in the same barrage.
