IDF kills IRGC Quds Force commander Hisham Abd al-Karim Yassin in Lebanon strike

The IDF announced on March 14 that it had killed Hisham Abd al-Karim Yassin, described as a "key commander" in Hezbollah's communications unit and in the Palestine Corps of the IRGC Quds Force, in an airstrike in Lebanon earlier that week. Yassin was involved in assisting Hezbollah rebuild its capabilities and "worked to advance Iranian entrenchment in Lebanon," the IDF said. The strike was part of Israel's systematic campaign to eliminate IRGC operatives embedded within Hezbollah's command structure in Lebanon.
