The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority announced the temporary closure of the country's airspace as an "exceptional precautionary measure" on Tuesday morning amid a new wave of Iranian missile and drone attacks. The UAE Defense Ministry said air defenses intercepted incoming ballistic missiles and drones, with loud explosions heard across Dubai from successful interceptions. The airspace was reopened approximately two hours later after the situation stabilized. Dubai International Airport operations were briefly disrupted. The UAE Defense Ministry stated that its air defenses have intercepted more than 300 ballistic missiles and 1,600 drones since the war began.
