Multiple large explosions rocked central Tehran as thousands of Iranians participated in annual al-Quds Day rallies in solidarity with Palestinians. Israel struck more than 200 targets across Iran, with blasts reported near Ferdowsi Square, Enghelab Square and Hejab Street. Iranian state media Press TV reported one woman killed by shrapnel from a US-Israeli strike. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian attended the rally alongside Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, in a show of defiance. The strikes targeted IRGC command infrastructure adjacent to civilian gathering areas. An Israeli official said the strikes on Quds Day sent "a message that Israel will not be deterred by symbolic displays."
