IDF/US strike on IRGC naval facility at Jask port; large fires reported

Israeli and US warplanes struck the IRGC naval facility at Jask port in Hormozgan Province near the Strait of Hormuz in the early morning hours of Day 17. Video footage showed large plumes of smoke rising from the port area. The facility served as a staging area for IRGC fast-attack boats and anti-ship missile batteries used to threaten shipping in the strait. Iranian state media reported at least 3 killed and 5 injured among port personnel. The strike is part of ongoing coalition efforts to neutralize Iranian naval threats to the Strait of Hormuz.
