A joint US-Israeli airstrike eliminated Mohsen Darbagi (also spelled Dareh-Baghi), the Iranian Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics and Support of the Armed Forces, in Tehran. Darbagi held one of the most critical logistical positions in Iran's military structure, overseeing the supply chains and logistical support for all Iranian Armed Forces operations. He was responsible for coordinating the resupply of ammunition, fuel, and equipment to IRGC and conventional military forces across multiple active fronts. His elimination was confirmed by Iranian state media and reported by the Alma Research Center in their March 12 daily operational report as a high-level elimination. The killing was part of the systematic US-Israeli campaign to destroy Iran's military command and logistics infrastructure. Iran's Armed Forces General Staff officially confirmed the death and announced a joint funeral ceremony for commanders killed in the first two weeks of the war, held in Tehran.
