The Israeli Air Force launched overnight airstrikes on Beirut's southern Dahiyeh district early Wednesday, targeting multiple Hezbollah command centers and weapons storage facilities. The IDF said the strikes hit command centers used by Hezbollah's naval unit, financial unit, and Operating Council, as well as IRGC Air Force command infrastructure. The operation was described as a preemptive wave aimed at neutralizing launch cells and missile launch platforms "before launch or shortly after," following intelligence that Hezbollah was planning a "larger-than-standard" overnight rocket barrage against Israel.
