Israeli airstrike on nuns' quarter in Nabatieh kills 6, including a child

An Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the nuns' quarter (Hay al-Rahbat) of the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, killing six people including a child. The strike was part of Israel's intensified Day 14 bombing campaign across Lebanon that killed more than two dozen people in Beirut, the south, and the east. Nabatieh, a city of approximately 35,000 people, had been subjected to Israeli evacuation orders earlier in the week. The airstrike occurred on the same day Israeli forces destroyed the Zrarieh Bridge and carried out targeted strikes across Beirut's Bourj Hammoud and Jnah districts.
