The Israeli military issued an expanded forced evacuation order for southern Lebanon, now extending all the way to the Zahrani River — further north than previous orders and encompassing dozens of additional towns and villages including Sidon's southern outskirts. The IDF said its forces were targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the expanded zone. Israeli airstrikes accompanying the new orders killed at least six people in the Bint Jbeil and Nabatiyeh districts, and wounded fourteen others, according to Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health. Four of the dead were in a vehicle strike on the Deir Mimas road. This marks the deepest formal Israeli evacuation order since the Lebanon war began on March 2, with over 820,000 people now estimated as displaced nationwide. The IDF confirmed Hezbollah continued to launch rockets and anti-tank missiles from positions within the expanded zone.
