The IDF launched a wave of airstrikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut's southern suburbs, killing Hussein Makled, head of Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters. The IDF said Makled was responsible for "forming the intelligence picture using various intelligence collection tools." The military had issued fresh evacuation warnings hours before the strikes. Multiple buildings housing Hezbollah offices and weapons storage were targeted. The Lebanese Health Ministry reported at least 22 killed and 55 wounded in the overnight strikes. In response, Lebanese PM Nawaf Salam ordered the military to take "immediate measures" to prevent any military operations or missile launches from Lebanese territory.
