IDF strikes over 200 targets in western Iran; Hamedan IRGC and Basij headquarters hit

The Israeli Air Force launched what it described as a "massive wave of attacks" across western and central Iran in the early hours of Day 17. Explosions were reported in Hamedan, Isfahan, Tabriz, Khomein, Dezful and parts of western Tehran. The IDF said it struck more than 200 targets overnight, specifically targeting IRGC headquarters and Basij paramilitary bases in the Hamedan area. Iranian state media reported at least 12 killed and 25 injured in the Hamedan strikes, with several IRGC command buildings reduced to rubble. The IDF told CNN it still has "thousands of targets" remaining and is planning at least three more weeks of its campaign.
