The Israeli Air Force confirmed launching a "wide-scale wave of strikes" across Tehran on Wednesday morning, targeting IRGC command centres, sites of the ballistic missile array, and additional military infrastructure. The IDF said targets included a headquarters of an IRGC security unit "responsible for handling protests," a maintenance center of internal security forces, and a headquarters of Iran's ballistic missile forces. The military also struck several Iranian air defense systems during the wave "to expand the Air Force's aerial superiority over Iranian skies." No immediate casualty figures were available. The strikes came as Iran simultaneously launched retaliatory barrages at Israel and Gulf states.
