The IDF completed several waves of strikes against Iranian regime infrastructure across Isfahan and southern Iran in the early hours of Day 17, targeting six military airfields to gain further air dominance. The strikes destroyed the Internal Security Force headquarters in Isfahan, the IRGC police force headquarters, a Basij militia base, and a rocket engine production facility. Numerous IRGC Quds Force aircraft and Iranian combat helicopters were dismantled at the airfields. An IRGC UAV headquarters used for launching drones toward Israel was also struck. The operation formed part of the broader overnight campaign following the extensive Tehran strike wave.
