The IRGC Aerospace Force launched a retaliatory salvo of 34 Shahed-136 loitering munitions targeting IDF radar installations and Northern Command bases in the Galilee and Upper Galilee, in direct response to the US B-52H strike on the IRGC 8th Ground Forces Army headquarters in Shiraz. A combination of Israeli Iron Dome batteries, David's Sling interceptors, and US Patriot PAC-3 batteries operating in coordination through the integrated regional air defense network intercepted and destroyed all 34 drones. Debris fell harmlessly in the Galilee hills and into the Mediterranean. No casualties were reported. The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed the mass intercept, noting that Iran's drone launch rate had fallen 83% since the start of the conflict yet nightly barrages were continuing. Air raid sirens were sounded across the Galilee, Kiryat Shmona, and Upper Nazareth for approximately 40 minutes. IDF Northern Command placed all air defense units on heightened readiness overnight.
