Hezbollah launched its biggest single rocket barrage against Israel since it entered the war on March 2, firing more than 200 projectiles toward northern Israel overnight as Day 15 began. The massive salvo included Katyusha rockets, Grad-type rockets, and several Burkan heavy rockets targeting communities in the Galilee and Haifa Bay area. Israeli air defense systems engaged the barrage, achieving a high interception rate but several rockets and falling debris struck the Kiryat Ata and Nesher areas near Haifa, wounding 21 people — three seriously, eight moderately, and ten lightly. The IDF said Hezbollah fired simultaneously from multiple launch sites across southern Lebanon in an apparent coordinated operation with Iran's concurrent ballistic missile barrage. Israel responded with airstrikes on Hezbollah rocket launch infrastructure in the Bekaa Valley and south Lebanon within minutes.
